I woke up in my room at home, and went downstairs to be greeted by Mom. She told me that Simon came by looking for me a little while ago, shouting about me needing to get on the ship at Snowpoint City. Being Simon, however, he ran off before she could ask him about any further details. Sometimes I just get so tired of his impatience...
Mom changed the subject, asking how I was doing, and how the project with Professor Rowan was coming along, which reminded me that I've fulfilled my Pokedex for the Sinnoh region. I left my house and head straight for Sandgem Town to show Rowan my Pokedex.
When I got there, Dawn was waiting for me in front of the research building. She asked to see my Pokedex, and I showed her. Dawn was surprised to see that I've seen every kind of Pokemon in Sinnoh, and asked if I had shown Rowan yet. I went into the building and talked to Professor Rowan, and he congratulated me on recording all Pokemon in Sinnoh. He told me how it would help with his studies on Pokemon evolution.
Suddenly Professor Oak came in and I got out of the way while he greeted Rowan. Apparently it had been a long time since they had seen each other, and Professor Oak had come all the way here to see new Pokemon. Rowan introduced me to Oak, realizing he should have expected the world's leading authority on Pokemon to come visit at some point.
Professor Rowan told Oak that I had filled up every page of the Sinnoh Pokedex, and I found out that Rowan had been telling Oak about all the great things I had done. Oak told me the reason he came was to bring the data for the National Pokedex to Rowan, and since I was there he upgraded my Pokedex with the National Mode too!
Professor Oak warned me that it wouldn't be easy to complete the National Pokedex, but he was sure that I would make an honest attempt for himself and Rowan. Rowan was confident of my abilities, though of course I knew I couldn't fill the whole thing myself...
Professor Rowan asked Oak what compelled him to the Region in the first place, and Oak responded that he heard the Pal Park was open. I was reminded that it is at the end of Route 221, and Oak described how it has a special system that attracts every imaginable kind of Pokemon from every region. Oak told us that he came to make sure the system was operating properly. Oak then told me I should make an effort to visit Pal Park as well.
After that Professor Oak left, telling us he'd be late for a meeting. Rowan gave me a gift afterwards, as reward for completing the Sinnoh Pokedex, and that gift was the Poke Radar. It indicates grass patches where Pokemon are lurking, and Rowan told me he prepared it to help field assistants put together the Sinnoh Pokedex, though I took care of that for him. Rowan believed the Poke Radar would be useful for my goal of filling the National Pokedex.
I left afterwards, and went straight for Pal Park. While Surfing there, I fought a Swimmer and Annabelle grew to Level 58. When I went inside, I met up with Professor Oak. He welcomed me to Pal Park, telling me that Pokemon from around the country could be brought there. There's also a competition to it to see how quickly I can catch those Pokemon. Oak also gave me a Poketch App, the Trainer Counter, which tracks the Pokemon Radar's rankings.
Before he left, Oak told me I could find him in Eterna City for a while, and that he should make the best of his time studying Pokemon of the Sinnoh region. I saved my game and had to turn it off to get back to the main menu to start sending Pokemon over from Sapphire.
It's going to take me some time to transfer all my Pokemon over, but soon enough I shall have all my old Pokemon from Sapphire in Pearl!
